Seja Majeed
Seja Majeed is a British–Iraqi author whose passion for storytelling is deeply rooted in themes of history, identity, and resilience.
She holds an Honours degree in Law from Brunel Law School, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from City Law School, London, and a Diploma in Leadership and Public Policy from the American University of Sharjah.
Seja began her career with Shell Petroleum Company, joining the organisation’s prestigious global graduate programme and contributing to several major international projects, including the Majnoon Oil Field in Iraq. Alongside her professional career, she continues to nurture her creative pursuits, drawing inspiration from her heritage and the stories that shape human experience.
Her debut novel, The Forgotten Tale of Larsa, reflects her enduring fascination with ancient history, mythology, and the strength of the human spirit. Through her writing, Seja explores the universal themes of love, courage, and cultural memory — weaving together historical imagination and timeless storytelling. Dedicated to the Iraqi people and to the family members who inspired her, the novel stands as a tribute to endurance and hope.

Everything a good book should be! Well written, superb storyline! The author Seja, takes you into Larsa's kingdom through her imagination and great story telling. War, love, treachery and heartache all in one absolutely loved this book.
